Mayapur is the place where the supreme Lord Sri
Krishna advented as Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu 500 years ago to inaugurate the yuga dharma (religious practice) for this particular age of quarrel and hypocrisy. Geographically, Mayapur is located in West Bengal. Generally, Radhanath Swami takes devotees to Mayapur once in two years. In these yatras, Radhanath Swami stresses on the ‘sharing’ aspect of spirituality. In this connection, Radhanath Swami says, “Great souls feel great pain to see other people suffering and the only real suffering is to be forgetful of our spiritual identity because that is the cause of all misery.”
